Screenshot Extractor - Chrome Extension
This is a screenshot extractor for the Chrome platform. It allows you to save the selected text as a TXT or HTML file, as well as generate a list of text strings for each element of a web page.
This is the best way to extract text from web pages and websites, with the only possible downside being that it cannot process the text that is presented in some pages (like Facebook, Google+, or other social networks) and some sites (like youtube).
The way the code is written is such that it can be easily adapted to all websites. It doesn't need to be run on any site, but it should not be run on sites that are using OCR technology, like Google, Facebook, or Twitter.
